Morning Summer Rain

These are the mornings I just love in the spring here in Maryland and the NE in general.  The softest sounding light rain after having rained through the night.  The sound is soothing and everything is so incredibly lush and green and the flowers are just soaking it up.  All the little critters are sleeping in a little longer this morning including my lab, Kip, who isn’t quite ready for his morning jaunt and is snoozing on the stair landing.  I’m getting nostalgic as we continue to move forward and prepare for our move to N Calif, where I grew up.
